WDC is looking for a fantastic leader with capacity and resilience for the key position of Environment Health Service Coordinator of the Environmental & Public Protection Group within Environmental Health.
You’ll be someone who thinks in terms of solutions and is focused on your own professional improvement and others. You’ll be pragmatic and have fantastic people skills to compliment your excellent technical knowledge in Environmental Health.
You’ll be leading a multidisciplinary Group of professionals delivering environmental regulation and public health protection in the areas of noise & vibration, nuisance, fly tipping, air quality and contaminated land with major developments in progress.
As a part of the leadership team within Environmental Health, you’ll show commitment to professional development for yourself and the Group. You’ll strive to deliver the best service in the nation and support the Council strategic priorities to improve the lives of residents.
Applicants must be qualified Environmental Health Officers in possession of the REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health or its equivalent. Other key requirements are detailed in the role profile.
