Food Safety Officer
Salary: Grade 6 £36,076 – £39,085
Location: Municpal Buildings
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
To be a fully active team member of the Health Protection Team. The team has an establishment of a Team Leader, Environmental Health Officers and number of other Enforcement and support staff.
To undertake the role of Food Safety officer and provide a range of technical and specialist regulatory and advice duties covering Food Safety legislation. To be responsible for undertaking official control duties, including enforcement at food premises and approved establishments, to carry out import and export controls and other duties arising from Food Safety legislation.
