We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to actively contribute to the delivery of one of the General Trustees charitable objectives, assisting congregations in the provision of suitable and safe buildings for each parish.  

The successful candidate will be required to travel across the Church of Scotland sites, visiting Presbyteries and congregations to provide a technical and administrative support service that will improve their confidence and competence in managing their properties Health and Safety.

You should have a broad understanding and experience of working professionally with a wide variety of different service users in contributing to the delivery an occupational health and safety service.  Although this role is home based, you will be required to visit, on occasion, the National Office of the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh.   Frequent travel to Church of Scotland sites with occasional evening and weekend work with overnight stays, is a requirement for this post.  Candidates must have access to their own vehicle, and all travel expenses will be paid.
