HSE and the Scottish Government have arranged three half day training sessions for agencies which have enforcement responsibility for animal visitor attractions, or for investigating cases of illness due to zoonotic infections such as E. coli O157. 

The training is aimed at:

  • Local Authority staff who have contact with visitor attractions involving animals
  • Health Protection/Public Health staff in NHS Boards who may be involved in investigating outbreaks or sporadic cases of zoonotic infections
  • HSE inspectors

 Cost

The only cost will be officers’ travel and subsistence. The Scottish Government are very kindly providing the venue free of charge.
