Smoking Training Opportunities - IMPACT smoking and mental health training
ASH Scotland are providing free online training sessions on the adverse effects of smoking on mental health and mental health medication for Third Sector Support Workers (including Volunteers, Peer Mentors and Carers), NHS and Local Authority workers in adult services, providing support to people who have mental health problems.
IMPACT smoking and mental health training is delivered is a short e-learning module first, followed-up with a one or two hour session delivered through Zoom two weeks later.
Dates for 2022:
- 1 hour sessions: 14 April, 11 May, 15 June
- 2 hour sessions: 27 April, 18 May, 29 June

ASH Scotland have a range of free online modules on their dedicated eLearning website.
The courses provide support to improve your knowledge and confidence around smoking and tobacco issues. They cover a range of topics including young people, second hand smoke, money advice, cannabis and mental health.
