The Food Standards Agency’s (FSA) website has moved over to the GOV.UK platform.
FSA state that this will help to meet the evolving needs of their diverse user base, while also reducing costs, enhancing security, and improving the efficiency of their online content.
This aligns with the UK Government’s ambition to create a single, consistent experience, enabling members of the public to access multiple services all on one platform.
The majority of content from FSA old website has been moved to their new online home. T
Diane Barlow, Chief Information Officer at the FSA, said: ”
Moving to GOV.UK is a significant step forward for how we serve the public.
Our users can now access trusted food safety information through a single, secure and accessible platform, alongside a wide range of other government services. This move reflects our commitment to making it as easy as possible for everyone to find what they need, when they need it.”
The FSA’s previous website – www.food.gov.uk – is no longer in operation, but any users who attempt to visit the old website will be automatically redirected to our GOV.UK pages.
The FSA continues to fulfil its role as an independent, non-ministerial department and regulator, working to protect public health and consumer interests in relation to food.
