Aberdeenshire Council has created a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, qualified and dynamic individual to take on a new job role as Service Manager for Environmental Health and Trading Standards. Due to retirement, the Council is creating a new role that will merge and develop the services while ensuring excellent service delivery.
As the Service Manager you will ensure services are delivered to the highest standard, represent the service on relevant regional and national boards and represent the Head of Service as required.
A relevant qualification in Environmental Health OR Trading Standards is required.
Aberdeenshire Council recognises that in order to recruit and retain high quality employees across the organisation it is necessary to have a competitive relocation and resettlement scheme. Under the terms of this procedure relocation expenses of up to £8,000 (including vat) will be reimbursed.
It is Aberdeenshire Council's procedure that applicants for vacancies of this nature require to participate in an online assessment centre as well as interview. Online assessment will take place the week beginning 23rd September 2019, interviews will be held on Friday 11th October 2019.
