We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our Food, Health & Safety Team which is part of The Environment Service. The post is for a 6 month period beginning in January 2018 to cover for maternity leave. This temporary post would be suitable for a recently qualified Environmental Health Officer.
Duties include carrying out our statutory and other functions in accordance with Council Policy with respect to Food, Infectious Disease Investigation, Licensing & Health & Safety. You may have the opportunity participate in our out of hours rota.
You may also be required to undertake other functions and roles at a similar level.
A BSc in Environmental Health or equivalent and REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health or equivalent are essential for this post.
