The graduate intern will work within the Environmental Health team based in Inverness. 

The job will cover two specific, outcome focused and time limited projects:

1.     As part of redesign work Environmental Health are reviewing all procedures around licensing. A key project is on licensing of caravan sites and to review the current public register of caravan sites. There is a need to ensure this is up to date and information is held on planning permissions granted to each site. 

2.     In reviewing caravan sites, to identify what facilities each site has for disposal of waste for caravans/campervans and willingness of site operator to allow access to the disposal point to travelling vans. This will be used to address increasing reports of campervans and caravans emptying their waste tanks in inappropriate locations

This post would support a graduate EHO in contributing to their practical training as part of the REHIS professional development criteria.
