You will work independently within a team to contribute to the delivery of safe food in Glasgow and you will be expected to participate in all aspects of food enforcement including inspections, producing reports, taking formal action when necessary and food sampling. You will be enthusiastic, motivated and confident with an ability to display a flexible approach to the needs of the Council. A Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection and a Higher Certificate in Food Standards Inspection, basic IT skills and an awareness of food safety enforcement practices within a local authority environment is essential.  A current driving licence is desirable.
