A suitably qualified candidate is invited to apply for the above vacancy within the Food & Safety Team which is part of the Service’s Environmental Health & Trading Standards Unit.
The successful candidate will primarily undertake duties related to Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Water Quality, Port Health, Communicable Disease, Public Health and Smoking Enforcement. Service demands may require flexibility to contribute to other environmental health priorities such as Noise Control, Air Quality, Statutory Nuisance, Housing, Animal Welfare and Licensing.
You must be self-motivated and enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal and IT skills and the ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team. You must be mobile throughout the Council area.
