Scottish Borders Council Regulatory Services seek to recruit an Environmental Health Officer to carry out a range of duties within either of its ‘Food, Health & Safety’ or ‘Amenity and Pollution’ Teams.
The range of duties provides an interesting diversity of work with the opportunity to develop specialist lead roles within the team. Regulatory Services are committed to continuing professional development, supporting confident and effective regulators, adapting to change, and team work as a means to achieve goals and improvement.
The posts will be based at a location within the central Borders although the characteristics of the Borders, service needs of the Borders communities, and development of new ways of working, will encourage a flexible working approach.
