Environmental Health Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to take on the role of Environmental Health Officer within the Environmental Health Team in Glasgow.
Based within the Business Regulation team, you will work both independently and collaboratively to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow. You will undertake a range of work including food law inspections and investigations, Health and Safety enforcement and Licensing
An accredited Degree and REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health (or equivalent), proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting, a flexible approach to working, good IT skills and communication skills are essential
Applications will be accepted from candidates going forward for professional exams in October 2025. A current driving licence is desirable.
