We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our Environmental Health Team.
You will be qualified to BSc (Hons) standard in Environmental Health or equivalent. A Diploma in Environmental Health of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) or equivalent, and evidence of on-going Continual Professional Development is also essential. REHIS can be contacted to advise on qualification equivalencies, contact@rehis.com. Consideration will be given to Students/Graduate Trainee EHO’s intending to sit their REHIS professional examinations in 2025. Salary awarded will be dependent on experience.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as a customer-orientated approach in working with the public, the business community and external organisations.
