We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join our Environmental Health Team.
You will be qualified to BSc (Hons) standard in Environmental Health or equivalent. A Diploma in Environmental Health of the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) or equivalent, and evidence of on-going Continual Professional Development is also essential. Consideration will be given to Students/Graduate Trainee EHO’s intending to sit their REHIS professional examinations in 2023. Salary awarded will be dependent on experience.
The successful candidate will be based within our Business Regulation section and be capable of meeting the qualification and competency requirements detailed in the Food Law Code of Practice (Scotland) in respect of official controls for food law.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as a customer orientated approach.
