An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Environmental Health Officer to join East Ayrshire Council.
Working within the Food Safety/Health & Safety Team you will contribute to the development, implementation, promotion and delivery of an efficient Environmental Health Service.
Candidates must hold the REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health, or have confirmation from the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) of equivalence.
This is a permanent full-time post. The workstyle being ‘Moblie’, 20-49% of the time is office based, at Civic Centre South, John Dickie Street, Kilmarnock.
Applications will be welcome from recently qualified Environmental Health Officers.
Normal office hours are 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday & 9am – 4pm Friday
Consideration will also be given to applications from graduates with the BSc or MSc in Environmental Health who have completed the 48 weeks professional training. Applicants without the Diploma in Environmental Health would be appointed at Graduate EHO level salary Grade 8.
