Aberdeen City Council are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a degree level qualification (Bsc/Msc) in Environmental Health from a University accredited by the Royal Environmental Health Institute Scotland (REHIS) to fill a Trainee Environmental Health Officer’s post.
The post will require you to:
- Undertake a period of at least 48 weeks practical structured training in Environmental Health
- Complete and submit the REHIS portfolio to demonstrate competence across Environmental Health
- Prepare for and sit the REHIS Professional exams in October 2019
- Assist the environmental health team in ensuring that statutory requirements are complied with.
The successful candidate will be offered a year’s paid practical placement, in Aberdeen, which will equip them with the necessary skills required to successfully complete the Learning Portfolio in order to sit the REHIS Professional Interview in October 2019.
