You will be responsible for ensuring that statutory requirements are complied with, taking enforcement action where necessary and implementing Council policies, with a view to ensuring that risks to public health and safety are adequately controlled, encouraging compliance with the law and enhancement of public health through promotion, education and advice at all levels. The post will require occasional out of hours work.
