Gas Safety in Commercial Catering

The REHIS Northern Centre is pleased to be hosting a Gas Safety Course on Thursday 5 December 2024 (10am-2pm) via MS Teams.
Recently there has been an increase in commercial catering businesses with their Gas appliances. However, the knowledge and understanding required to react to these areas of non-compliance is limited. This training event by the Gas Safe Register aims to improve awareness of these areas, how to deal with them and increase competency of those delegates attending this event.
The course is produced and delivered by Mark Kennedy, Regional Investigations Officer and Carl Wagstaff from Gas Safe Register.
This course will cover (but not limited to):
- What is the Gas Safe Register?
- Gas Safety Investigations
- Dealing with unsafe situations
- Legislation
- Examples of issues found.
Participation in the event carries a maximum CPD value of 4 hours (core activity) for the REHIS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme. The amount of CPD claimed should be reflective of new knowledge gained at the event.
