This year’s Food Update event on the 3 June is once again proving to be a valuable session including presentations on: VACCP & TACCP., where VACCP- Vulnerability CCP focussing on food fraud prevention and TACCP-Threat Assessment CCP focusses on food defence.
A presentation on recent research into salt levels in foods at outdoor events and contributing to a Healthy Eating Active Living agenda- looking at dietary health as part of holistic food safety and public protection. Also input from the FSS on the Grey Markets Import guidance for food not intended for the UK market and may contain unauthorised or excessive additives, fail to meet compositional standards or lack allergen information. And to be confirmed, input from private sector novel food processing techniques and allergen testing.
