Building on the Fundamentals of Ship Inspection and IHR 2005 course, this workshop aims to provide more practical experience of carrying out a ship inspection and issuing a ship sanitation certificate by applying the principles covered in the fundamentals course. The training is interactive and involves moving around areas of a virtual vessel. Delegates will be expected to gather evidence from crew members present and examine documentation in order to determine what type of SSC is to be drafted together with the Evidence Report Form.
Participation in this event carries a maximum value of 5.5 hours (core activity) for the CIEH/REHIS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) schemes.
