To address the growing role sensor technology is playing in the monitoring of ambient air pollution and helping to drive behaviour change, EP Scotland is hosting a conference and exhibition on 27thNovember 2024.

DEFRA and the UK devolved governments recently sponsored a BSI publicly available standard (PAS) aimed at guiding air quality practitioners in the most effective use of sensor technology for air pollution monitoring. The conference will learn about this standard and how it encourages best practice in the application, maintenance and data analysis of sensor networks.

The conference will also hear about case studies demonstrating what can be achieved by application of the guidance within the standard and how these technologies complement conventional reference grade monitoring networks.  Presentations on currently operating cutting edge research projects based on air sensing and emissions inventories will also feature.

Leading sensor manufacturers and suppliers are invited to present their latest developments and products throughout the day during breaks and lunch.

This is a must attend event for anyone involved in air pollution monitoring and/or management from industry, government, consultancies and research communities.
