After 10 very successful years of continuous growth, ‘The Fleet Event for Scotland’ returns, with a fresh new look and format. And for the first time, it will not only be taking ultra-low emission vehicle technology just to Edinburgh… Aberdeen will also have its very own version too.
Since the event was launched back in 2009, more than 3,000 fleet, transport, HR, environmental and sustainability professionals have joined to hear the very latest Scottish transport and emissions legislation and discover which solutions can help them run a more efficient transport operation. As a result, GreenFleet are proud to say that the event has played a significant role in helping Scotland become a ‘beacon of excellence’, in the UK… A region that the rest of the UK can look to and learn from.
Much of the success is down to the continued vision, action and support of Transport Scotland and Energy Saving Trust. And credit to them, they are not about to sit back and relax… They recognise that this is an on-going issue, with continued room for development and improvement, and as a result, GreenFleet have worked hard to bring you a new-look GREENFLEET SCOTLAND in 2019. This year they will bring you the very latest from our ‘Partners’ above, together with the ‘Host Cities’ themselves, so as a delegate, you will not only hear about the latest national strategy, but also a more local one too, from City of Edinburgh Council and Aberdeen City Council.
2019 sees the event have a new ‘home’ to go with its new look and theme. Murrayfield Stadium, the "Home of Scottish Rugby", will host the event this year, on Friday 12 April. As a delegate, you can expect a highly informative day, packed full of networking, knowledge-sharing, round table discussions and, of course, test drives.
