Fundamentals of Ships Inspections & the IHR 2005 – Webinar

Time: Commencing 10:00 – 16:00 BSTAn updated version of the former Introduction to Ships Inspections and IHR 2005 course, this workshop is aimed at officers that are new to ship inspections and the issue of ships sanitation certificates and control certificates, or those having limited experience and perhaps looking to refresh their knowledge. It will introduce delegates to the International Health Regulations 2005 and how they are implemented by UK legislation; the World Health Organisation’s Technical Handbook for Inspection of Ships & Issuance of Ship Sanitation Certificates, its use on board and the Evidence Report Form (ERF) together with a scenario based exercise in how to complete a ship sanitation certificate.Participation in this event carries a maximum value of 5.5 hours (core activity) for the CIEH/REHIS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) schemes.
