Environmental Protection Scotland (EPS) are hosting the first in a series of three webinars exploring the concept of Place – with the first celebrating Clean Air Day on 8th October 2020.
The event will feature three expert speakers who will talk about poor air quality as a contemporary threat to health and wellbeing. Viewed through the prism of Place, they will examine the potential of policies targeting air pollution not only to improve health and wellbeing but also to secure wider environmental and equity benefits implicit in a ‘Triple Win.’
This is a free event for all, however delegates must register in advance. Full details of the webinar and how to register can be found here.
EPS appreciate that Clean Air Day 2020 is later than usual and will have a totally different format this year, but if you are able to do something to mark it please visit www.cleanairday/scotland for an array of free online resources and ensure you use the correct hashtags #CleanAirDay or #CleanAirDay. Are you working from home? Why not share an image of the view from your home office by using #CADofficeview.
Finally, EPS also have a supply of CAD bandanas, that can be used as face coverings by children and adults, so if your school or office are participating please let us know if you require some.
