WEDNESDAY 24, 31 AUGUST AND 7 SEPTEMBER 2022
(10.00am – 12noon)
via MS Teams
Through academic and professional qualifications all Environmental Health Officers, Authorised Officers, Technical Officers, Course Presenters gain the knowledge to carry out their role. The interactions and manner in which that knowledge is used and shared can often influence responses by the recipients and good communication skills are just as important as the technical knowledge.
We have an opportunity for unique, dynamic and interactive communication workshops to help transform the way delegates interact, communicate and present themselves to the world to help those attending to communicate their message effectively.
The workshops will be delivered through Microsoft Teams and will be spread across three 2-hour sessions, details of each session below.
The workshops are being delivered by Applied Theatre. https://appliedtheatre.co.uk/
Sarah MacDonald and Fiona MacPherson with a combined 35 years of working in education and theatre have developed proven skills and techniques to help people become effective and powerful communicators. The workshops have been developed specifically for the Institute and for those working in Environmental Health related fields.
The course consists of all 3 workshops and delegates are expected to attend all three.
The fee is £150 for REHIS members (£250 for non-members).
A 25% cancellation charge will be made up to 10 August 2022 and after that the full fee will be payable. Substitute delegates will be accepted up to start of the course.
