The Scottish Government has established ambitious targets under the Climate Change (Scotland) Act and the use of biomass fuels is seen as a way of meeting these. A balance has therefore to be found between encouraging the uptake of biomass installations and potential negative effects on local air quality. This half day workshop/seminar will see the launch of Environmental Protection UK’s biomass guidance and is essential for those involved in all aspects of air quality and biomass installations. See attached flyer for more information and a booking form.

For the attention of REHIS members – Participation in this event carries a maximum value of 3 hours (core activity) for the REHIS Scheme of Continuing Professional Development.
