Wednesday 9 September (14:00-15:00/15) – Proposed restrictions on retail displays
The Scottish Government presents an overview of the UK Government’s four nations consultation, with a focus on the proposals for retail displays of nicotine products. Dr Allison Ford and Anne Marie MacKintosh (University of Stirling) will then present findings about how vapes and other new nicotine products are currently displayed and marketed in stores; young people and adults’ responses to retail marketing practices; and potential responses to restricting point-of-sale displays for vapes and nicotine pouches.
