‘An exploration of the education and training needs of Environmental Health Officers in relation to health protection’
An invitation to a workshop to be held on Friday 8 May, NHS Education for Scotland offices, Edinburgh
Environmental Health Officers are seen as a key component of the health protection community in Scotland and it is therefore essential to ensure that they have access to appropriate workforce education development opportunities.
To support this, REHIS working in partnership with the Society of Chief Officers of Environmental Health in Scotland and NHS Education for Scotland/Health Protection Scotland is facilitating a workshop to explore the specific education and training needs of Environmental Health Officers.
Topics will include:
- Revision of the national health protection workforce education framework
- Incident management
- Public health career framework
Colleagues with a lead/operational role in workforce development are invited to join this workshop.
