Environmental Protection Scotland - Soundscapes and the Green Recovery - Webinar

As we embark on a green recovery from the COVID-19 crisis,  this event will look at the concept of ‘quiet areas’ where people can switch off from the stresses of everyday normal life and find tranquility in towns and cities, the work of the devolved Welsh administration in developing a noise and soundscape plan, and noise impacts on rural habitats and wildlife.

The speakers are 

  • Dr Sarah Payne Asst Professor of Health in the Built Environment, Heriot-Watt University
  • Dr Gareth Arnott Senior Lecturer and Researcher, Institute for Global Food Security, Queen's University, Belfast

  • Lisa Lavia, Managing Director, the Noise Abatement Society
