4 July 2012:  The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) welcomes the Scottish Government’s decision to create a new Scottish body for food safety, food standards, nutrition, food labelling and meat inspection and takes this opportunity to highlight the positive contribution that Environmental Health Professionals (Environmental Health Officers and Food Safety Officers) working in Scotland’s local authorities make to the improvement and protection of public health.
