CCENM course notice & info – 2025 (Glenrothes) REHIS
Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement
Location: Fife Council – Fife House, North Street, Glenrothes, Fife KY7 5LT
Dates & times: Course 15-19 Sept 2025. Daily, 09:00 to about 16:30 hrs.
Exams: Practical: Thursday or Friday of the course, i.e. 18th or 19th Sept
Written: Friday 10 October 2025 (pm)
The Course: Face-to-face tutored 5 day course which includes – course notes and materials; a preexam tutorial following the course; practical and written exams. Successful candidates will be awarded
the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)‘Certificate of Competence in Environmental Noise Measurement’. This
qualification is at ‘Technician Membership’ level of the IOA. There will be two tutors present
throughout the 5 days, as it is very much a ‘hands-on’ method of delivery.
