The annual REHIS Health & Safety Update course will take place on Wednesday 3 September 2025. It is again an online event as this has proven to be a success in the past.
We are pleased to announce that we will have Paul Spurrier from HSE giving us an update; a successful prosecution of an accident involving life changing burns from Holly Macdonald, East Lothian Council; East Ayrshire’s successful defence of an appeal of a Prohibition Notice, Barbra Carter from MHRA talking about the agency and investigation of criminal activities at beauty salons and similar venues, Billy Collins from PIPA talking about safety and inflatables and finally Garry O’Hagan from SGSA talking about the Green Guide and stadium safety.
The update is aimed at Environmental Health Officers, Health and Safety Enforcement Officers, REHIS registered course presenters and all professionals working in the field of health and safety.
Participation in this event carries a maximum value of 3 hours for the REHIS Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme.
