The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland, often referred to as REHIS, is an independent, self-financing registered Scottish charity whose main objectives are for the benefit of the community to promote the advancement of Environmental Health

Environmental Health is that area of public health activity which strives to improve, protect and maintain health and well being through action on the physical environment and life circumstances
COMMUNITY TRAINING
Courses leading to REHIS qualifications are available at Approved Training Centres throughout Scotland and delivered by qualified registered presenters
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & EVENTS
The Institute awards the qualification for EHOs in Scotland and through the SFSORB, the qualifications for those working in Food Law enforcement. Events and documents are provided for professionals. Members can comply with the Institute Schemes of CPD and in the case of EHOs, become a Chartered EHO
